    I hold a Master of Science Degree in Community Counseling from North Georgia College and State

University. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia since 2010 and am

both a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor and an Accredited Counseling Supervisor. Up until

2018 I was Clinical Director for the Summit Counseling Center in Johns Creek, Georgia. I have worked

with over 40 supervisees during their associate years to help supervise and lead them to full licensure.

Currently I am in private practice and founder of the InnerCompass Counseling Center (www.innercompasscounseling.net) 

with offices in Alpharetta, Cumming and East Cobb. My clinical experience has been primarily with 

adolescents, adults, couples and groups.

    My therapeutic orientation is primarily Interpersonal Neurobiology. I often use EMDR or CPT in the

treatment of Post-traumatic Stress, Gottman and Emotionally Focused Therapy in the treatment of

couples, AEDP while working with grief and Dialectical Behavior Therapy in the treatment of Bipolar,

Borderline Personality Disorder and Unrelenting Depression and Anxiety. My theoretical approach is

based in the understanding that therapy can be part of the natural growth of clients and that by helping

clients reach a greater personal understanding they can make different, more adaptive choices. I believe

that each of us has our own cultural heritage, right down to our family setting, and in dealing with any

client we must be aware of the systems that raised us. I believe that part of the supervision process is to

help you define your own theoretical orientation and I will be open-handed to your choices and the

processes/approaches that match authentically to your therapeutic personality.

   Supervision is offered both in-person and through video.  Individual sessions are 150.00 and group supervision is 75.00.
