I work with clients from age 5 to 95, for individual and couples counseling. I utilize all the standard modalities and an eclectic and flexible approach to meet the individual needs of each client.

About Me: : I graduated from a CACREP-Accredited Counseling program, and have an undergraduate degree in Music Therapy. I have worked in the field for over 20 years both as a Music Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have a diverse background of experience in the field, having worked in psychiatric hospitals, community mental health, the VA, the public school system, the state correctional system, and am currently in private practice. I love the work, I love collaboration and learning. I also have a teaching background (taught in the public schools) and am committed to fostering personal growth and development, strong clinical skills, and self-assurance.

Requirements to Work With Me : I am currently in private practice, and am the owner of Wellspring Counseling. My diverse experience through the years has taught me much about the human condition, and has been my most valuable education, and I continue to learn every day. The supervision/clinical work phase of professional development is one of the most critical experiences and optimal ways to develop solid clinical skills as you open yourself to new learning, insights and understandings. This is the time to learn as much about yourself as you do about others. In supervision you will learn how to develop and utilize your unique individual strengths and traits to truly assist others in their journey to healing and wholeness. I want you to feel comfortable communicating, asking questions, sharing concerns, exploring, and taking risks to grow. Commitment to the process and the goal of becoming a highly qualified and exceptional counselor is key to your success. Additional requirements for supervised clinical experience with me include:
-Completion of a graduate degree program that qualifies you to pursue licensure as an Associate Professional Counselor (APC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia.
-Employment or contract work that meets the Georgia Composite Board’s definition of counseling services.
-Commitment to maintaining individual liability insurance coverage.
