Keisha Reaves offers counselor supervision with the option of individual or group supervision. Counselor Supervision is a service provided to those pursuing licensure as an associate professional counselor or licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia. The purpose of supervision is to provide clinical support, education, and to promote professional skills. Supervision is also vital in the development of any new counselor. Supervisees will have the opportunity to expound their knowledge in ethics, diversity, cultural competency, theoretical approach, and professional development while also joining a community of counseling peers.

About Me: : An advocate for cultural competence in mental health care, Keisha trains providers on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, addresses implicit bias, and promotes a more inclusive approach to better serve birthing parents. Her commitment to education extends beyond the professional realm, as evidenced by her role as a fellow with Emory University’s Psychoanalytic Institute. She is also serving on the Georgia Department of Public Health Maternal Mortality Review Committee.

Requirements to Work With Me : I am currently offering supervision for those working toward full licensure, with options for individual or group settings. Supervisees will have the chance to present case consultations, engage in professional development discussions, and expand their expertise in various areas of clinical practice.

I host four 90-minute virtual supervision groups each month, with two morning and two late evening sessions available for flexibility. In-person supervision is held twice a year, with plans to offer additional in-person opportunities in the spring. During supervision, we focus on enhancing skills in ethics, diversity, cultural competency, theoretical approaches, and professional growth—all while fostering a supportive community of counseling peers.
