Dr. Hanna Cespedes, Ph.D., M.S., LPC, ACS is a licensed professional counselor, approved clinical supervisor, and founder of Pacifica Counseling & Psychiatry. Dr. Cespedes provides clinical supervision with a hands-on, relational approach rooted in attachment theory and the Developmental Model of Supervision. She supports supervisees in building clinical confidence, deepening case conceptualization skills, and fostering ethical, culturally responsive care.
With years of experience specializing in trauma, severe mental illness, and personality disorders, Dr. Cespedes integrates theory and practice to guide new professionals toward excellence. In addition to serving supervisees in Georgia, she will soon open an office in Minnesota, where she plans to expand her supervisory offerings.

Supervision with me is more than checking boxes—it's a collaborative and intentional space where we explore your clinical instincts, navigate ethical dilemmas, strengthen case conceptualization, and deepen your professional identity. I work closely with clinicians navigating complex client presentations, including trauma, severe mental illness, personality disorders, and mood disorders.

Requirements to Work With Me : Requirements to Work with Dr. Hanna Cespedes for Clinical Supervision
If you're interested in receiving clinical supervision under my guidance, here are the expectations and requirements to ensure a productive, ethical, and growth-centered experience:
🔹 Licensure Status
Must be a pre-licensed associate (APC in Georgia or equivalent in Minnesota) working toward full licensure.
Must maintain good standing with your state licensing board.
🔹 Practice Setting
Must be actively seeing clients in a clinical setting (private practice, agency, telehealth, etc.).
Preference is given to those working with populations impacted by trauma, severe mental illness, or relational challenges.
🔹 Availability & Commitment
Able to attend supervision weekly or biweekly, based on licensure requirements and clinical load.
Willing to engage in reflective practice, case presentations, ethical dialogue, and occasional written reflections.
🔹 Documentation & Communication
Must maintain up-to-date supervision logs and participate in periodic evaluation reviews.
Open and respectful communication is essential.
🔹 Alignment with Approach
Interested in a developmentally informed, attachment-based, and relational supervision style.
Willing to explore both clinical skills and professional identity formation.
Supervision is currently available virtually (for Georgia associates), with Minnesota sessions beginning soon as we expand locations.
