Hello! My name is Amanda Culverhouse and I have been working in the mental health field for over 10 years. I previously worked as a Special Education teacher for 10 years in my home town. 

My approach to supervision is the Integrative Model that utilizes multiple theoretical orientations.  By utilizing techniques from various supervision models like psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, solution-focused, etc.,  support can be tailored based on supervisee/client needs, level of expertise and theoretical orientation.   

My role as a supervisor is one that serves as a trainer, mentor, guide and evaluator while increasing the confidence and skill set of supervisees. 

Goals of Supervision:

●    Develop solid clinical skills for application, planning, documentation, and assessment

●    Ensure ethical decision-making

●    Model multi-cultural competency

●    Enhance self-awareness while exploring transference
