Description

The use of the 1013/2013, while not uncommon, can be daunting and confusing. Many clinicians who utilize the 1013 may not be aware of the involuntary mental healthcare system that a 1013/2013 is a part of. This workshop will review the systemic, procedural, and ethical considerations that should be made prior to signing this order and the protocols to utilize the form. This workshop will also review applicable ACA and AAMFT Code of Ethics and provide opportunity for discussion and practice of ethical decision making. This workshop is approved for 5 ETHIC hours.
