Description

This workshop is designed to help therapists expand their therapy skills and apply them to assist clients with skills for impulse control and managing oppositional behaviors. Workshop participants will learn ow to conceptualize the internal dynamics of the oppositional child and the mechanisms necessary for increased impulse control. In addition, participants will learn and practice a variety of art, expressive, experiential, and play therapy techniques to build impulse control skills and enhance emotional regulation for child clients with oppositional behaviors.
