Learn techniques for both selecting supervisees and meeting your Supervisor responsibilities for monitoring and skills development. Learn how to develop an agreement with the worksite Director/ Boss to promote a smooth, less stressful, less complicated supervisory relationship. This webinar includes an advanced ethics module in reading board public consent orders. Workshop Objectives: 1) Participants will learn how to perform an evaluation of the supervisee's clinical experience and formulate a targeted training plan. 2) Learn how to develop an agreement with the worksite Director/ Boss to promote a smooth, less stressful, less complicated supervisory relationship. 3) Participants will understand a developmental approach to supervision by learning point-by-point the most important teaching objectives and addressing gaps in knowledge and experience About The Presenter: Eric Groh LPC is one of the premier trainers of Georgia mental health professionals. He has presented through the Emory University School of Medicine, Licensed Professional Counselors Association, the South Division of the National Council on Problem Gambling and many other mental health and addiction organizations. Eric was a three-time governor appointee and president of the Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists. Eric served as adjunct faculty at Georgia State University, Chattahoochee Technical College and Bauder College. He was a consultant to the U.S. Department of Public Health, Bethesda MD, to expand capacity for MH/SA services to emergency response professionals in large scale disasters. He is founder and president of the Georgia Council on Problem Gambling. For 20 years he has been a solo practitioner combining cutting edge approaches and strategic practice development.
