Description

1.Discover the differences between neurodiversity and neurodivergence and how this applies to the child therapy client. 2.Categorize various traits that may be seen in the neurodivergent child therapy client. 3.Appraise three specific factors that are often seen in the neurodivergent child therapy client and how these affect home and school functions. 4.Prioritize the eight sensory systems and ways these can affect the child therapy client. 5.Collaborate on 3-5 creative strategies which may be used in a therapeutic setting6.Design a sample 4-Session plan for a neurodivergent child. This workshop is approved for 6 CORE hours.
