As Clinicians and helping professionals, we are well aware of our legal mandate to report abuse, neglect, and other issues that affect a child's safety and well-being. It is something that we all include in our consent forms when we address the limits of confidentiality. But do we know exactly what we are mandated to report? What is a reportable issue and what is an opportunity to provide support for the client beyond the therapy space? This training clarifies these questions and provide you with a solid roadmap to ensure that you are practicing ethically and within the scope of the law as a mandated reporter.
