Description

Advances in technology have made mental health care services more accessible to a greater number of individuals over the past few years. As a result, participation in telemental health care has grown exponentially. Accompanying this growth is the increase in telesupervision. An important component to providing effective supervision through the use of digital technologies is training in the methods to do so. In this training participants will be guided through the history of the use of technology in supervision and explore strategies and techniques to support the professional development of supervisees, manage crisis and difficult situations with clients, and practice ethically. This workshop is approved for 6 Telemental Health & 6 Supervision hours.
