Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) is a pervasive and complex issue that affects millions of individuals worldwide. As technology has become an integral part of daily life, it has also introduced new avenues through which IPV can occur. Abusers can exploit technology to exert control, manipulate, and intimidate their partners, leading to what is often referred to as 'digital abuse.' On the other hand, technology can also be an empowering tool for survivors, offering innovative ways to seek help, track incidents, and access resources. Join us to explore both the harmful and helpful dimensions of technology in the context of IPV. This workshop is approved for 1 CORE hour.
