Description
This ethical presentation aims to highlight the historical foundations of self-care, examine the implications of burnout, and emphasize the use of preventive tools to mitigate clinical impairment while addressing the ethical obligations that arise from these concerns. The wellness of therapists is crucial, as it directly translates to their ability to provide ethical, effective care, ultimately leading to improved therapeutic outcomes for clients. When clinicians prioritize their mental health, they are better equipped to remain present, attuned, and responsive to the needs of those they serve, ensuring a higher standard of care and ethical practice. In this training, we will explore the following objectives, all of which are designed to not only enhance therapists' personal well-being but also ensure the delivery of effective, ethical care to clients This workshop is approved for 3 ETHIC hours.
