This program prepares healthcare professionals within the mental health/health care field ways to prepare for a crisis with clients/patients in a therapeutic setting. Although clients may appear to be stable at times, a crisis can occur at any given moment. This webinar will offer guidance on how to assess and plan for escalations by employing appropriate resources to ensure an organized and safe approach to continuing care and stability. It discusses considerations for reduction of crisis episodes with specific risk factors to encourage clients’ ways to apply prevention strategies of their own to feel empowered and apply solutions when triggered by thoughts or emotions that have led to perpetual crisis moments.
