The Discovery Cards are structured to “meet people where they are” in terms of background, education, life circumstances, and learning styles. Derived from leading models, and organized into colored categories, each topic module engages, educates, and empowers individuals to process and apply the topic information to their own situations and circumstances. This process of internalizing the information (individual activation) motivates individuals toward change to reach their full potential. Connecting with others and sharing from experience is foundational to overall health & wellness, recovery, and personal growth. R1 is driven to spark meaningful conversations through self-discovery that increase connection, expression, choice, action, and change for individuals and their families. The R1 Learning System was developed to encourage these things and help individuals build the skills for change.
