 Keynote Spotlight:

Beyond Inclusion: Strategies for Celebrating LGBTQI+ Identities in Counseling and Supervision

Presented by Dr. Cory Viehl, LPC, CPCS, NCC, ACS, BC-TMH

Kicking off the summit is a dynamic keynote that challenges professionals to move beyond surface-level inclusion and toward the active celebration of LGBTQIA+ identities in both clinical and supervisory settings. Emphasizing intersectionality, generational mental health trends, and liberation-focused care, this session offers an affirming and practical foundation for the conversations that follow.

Dr. Viehl brings over 17 years of experience in private practice, higher education, and intensive outpatient care. His expertise centers on LGBTQIA+ mental health, clinical supervision, burnout prevention, and ethically grounded, culturally responsive practice across diverse settings.
