Friday, March 14, 2025 (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) (EDT)
Description
This one-day training equips therapists and group leaders with the skills to integrate the principles of Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, into therapeutic practice. Participants will explore the clinical application of Kintsugi as a metaphor for resilience, self-acceptance, and post-traumatic growth. Through experiential learning and hands-on exercises, attendees will gain tools to facilitate individual and group healing, enhance client engagement, and address trauma and grief recovery. Designed to expand therapeutic modalities, this program emphasizes creative interventions grounded in evidence-based practices.
