This foundational workshop is designed for emerging counselor supervisors who are eager to deepen their understanding and refine their supervision skills or more advanced supervisors who feel like they may have missed some of the basics. Participants will begin by defining the role and function of a supervisor. The workshop will then review the best ways to structure supervision sessions, focusing on setting clear expectations to maximize efficacy and foster professional growth. Participants will delve into the multifaceted roles and responsibilities that define effective supervision, examining how to balance support with accountability. This workshop is approved for 6 CORE & 6 SUPERVISION hours.
