Scheduling Consultation:

Consultations must be scheduled in advance to ensure personalized and dedicated service. Here are the details of the available consultation services:

Services Covered:

• Understanding rules and laws.
• Assistance with the licensure process and responding to board letters.
• Supervision Issues
• Ethical Issues
• General Practice Issues

Services Not Covered:

• Accounting
• Legal Issues (Typically recommend contacting your Liability Insurance)
• Business Start-Up, Development, and Marketing
• Insurance Credentialing

By requesting a consult you agree to the following:

• This review/consultation does not guarantee acceptance or licensure by the GA Composite Board of PC, SW, MFT “the Licensing Board.”
• Consultations are not intended for emergency situations. Ensure you have resources such as other LPCs, attorneys, your Professional Liability Insurance Company, etc.
• These materials are prepared for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice. Readers should not act on this information without reading the rules and laws located on the Secretary of State Georgia Composite Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists.

Response Time:

Due to the high volume of consultation requests, our response time is around  14 business days.  You will receive an email to schedule your consultation within 14 days. 

We appreciate your patience and assure you that we will give your needs our full attention.

Note: Consultations are not available on holidays or weekends. Holidays, Office Closures, and Weekends do not count as business days.
