Anger Management Certification Program

Presented in partnership with the Justitia Foundation, Inc. we are proud to host a groundbreaking Anger Management Certification Program tailored for mental health professionals. This program is designed to address the pervasive challenges of anger, which can disrupt lives, deteriorate relationships, and, in extreme cases, lead to criminal behavior.

By exploring the root causes of anger, irritability, and violence—not just the symptoms—this program equips professionals with the tools necessary to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those struggling with anger-related issues.


We are Offering Two Program Tracks: 

Specialist Track

  • Eligibility: Open to everyone
  • Duration: 2 days (12 Hours)
  • Certification: Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS)

Therapist Track

  • Eligibility: Open to individuals enrolled in a master’s-level mental health program (or higher), graduates, and licensed professionals
  • Duration: 3 days (18 Hours)
  • Certification: Certified Anger Management Therapist (CAMT)

About the Program

This 12- to 18-hour course is rooted in evidence-based research and techniques designed to:

  • Identify, assess, and manage anger effectively.
  • Cover interventions ranging from motivation enhancement and addressing biological contributors to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and relaxation strategies.

The program incorporates a comprehensive approach to understanding anger, including:

  • Exploring the nature of anger and its impact on individuals and relationships.
  • Addressing systemic factors that perpetuate anger.
  • Managing extreme anger and using humor effectively while acknowledging its limitations.

Upon completion, participants will receive an Accredited Certificate of Completion in PDF format and can use the title:

  • Certified Anger Management Specialist (12 hours, Specialist Track)
  • Certified Anger Management Therapist (18 hours, Therapist Track)
