This training will assist clinical professionals with better understanding the fundamental philosophy and coping skills of DBT to manage various presentations of system dysregulation. Participants will learn the modes of comprehensive DBT, underlying assumptions and dialectical philosophy, and models for understanding pervasive emotional dysregulation. Participants will also learn foundational coping skills, methods of implementation, and how to complete clinical documentation from the four DBT skills modules: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. 5.5 CORE Hours
