Description

This session will provide clinical mental health counseling students with practical tools and strategies on how to secure an internship site, screen a potential supervisor, and make the most out of their internship experience. Participants will learn how to search for sites, communicate their interest to potential site supervisors, prepare a resume and interview. Students will learn different perspective from experiences of the 2 current Internship 1 students, a site supervisor/Agency Director, and LPCA Supervision Chair. By the end of the presentation, participants will be better equipped to start applying for placements and deal with the potential challenges that may arise when it comes to securing a placement.

This workshop is hosted by our Western District in Columbus, Georgia. This event will be held both In-Person and Virtually! You must specify your registration type when registering. Please note that registration for the In-Person event can NOT be used to attend this workshop Virtually. 

As this is a live presentation and we would like to be able to answer any questions or comments from attendees, registration spots (both In-Person and Virtual) are LIMITED.
