Licensed Therapist - only LPC, LAPC, LMSW, LCSW, and LMFT candidates currently residing in the state of Georgia will be considered

New Heights Behavioral Consultants, LLC– is currently seeking 2-3 licensed therapists to provide professional community-based, outpatient behavioral therapy services* to clients receiving Tier 2 Non-Intensive Outpatient CORE services on a full-time basis (25-30 hours per week), primarily servicing the following areas:

• Region Zone: Atlanta, S. Dekalb/Decatur, S. Fulton, Clayton/Jonesboro, N. Fayette
• Region Zone: Henry/Stockbridge/McDonough, Clayton, Spalding
• Region Zone: S. Fayette/Fayetteville, Peachtree City, Newnan, Coweta, Spalding

* VIRTUAL REMOTE SERVICE OPTION – Face-to-face community services is required for the first 60 days; however, up to 30% of eligible telehealth cases can be serviced virtually with training credentials after successfully completing a 90-day probationary. (Example 30 cases, then 10 cases can be completed via telehealth)

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Fully Licensed Clinician in the State of Georgia as an LPC, LCSW or LMFT (Preferred)
• Associate Licensed as an LAPC, or LMSW is required at a minimum
• Master’s Degree in a Human/Social Service field (Counseling, Social Work, Education, Marriage & Family, Criminal Justice or equivalent) (Required)
• Tier 2 Non-Intensive Outpatient Program (CORE) or DFCS counseling experience working with children, adolescents and adults with severely emotional, behavioral, or psychological problems: 1 year minimum experience (Required)
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures (Required)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (Required)
• CANS/ANSA Certification (Preferred)
• Notenetic, Sharenote or similar 3rd party software applications experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, family and group counseling using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or other Systems related models
• Provide therapy, skill building, brief counseling and crisis counseling as needed to clients
• Educate and empower families to implement effective behavior modification techniques
