School Based-Licensed Therapists (Atlanta, Henry/Clayton County)

Currently seeking 1-2 Licensed Therapists (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LAPC or LMSW) to provide PT School based therapy services in Henry & Clayton County (20 hours per week).

Georgia - Only LPC, LAPC, LMSW, LCSW and LMFT candidates currently residing in the state of Georgia will be considered.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Fully Licensed Clinician in the State of Georgia as an LPC, LCSW or LMFT (Preferred)
• Associate Licensed as an LAPC, or LMSW is required at a minimum
• Master’s Degree in a Human/Social Service field (Counseling, Social Work, Education, Marriage & Family, Criminal Justice or equivalent) (Required)
• Tier 2 Non-Intensive Outpatient Program (CORE) or DFCS counseling experience working with children, adolescents and adults with severely emotional, behavioral, or psychological problems: 1 year minimum experience (Required)
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures (Required)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (Required)
• ShareNote, Notenetic or similar 3rd party software applications experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Provide on site brief individual, family and group counseling using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or other Systems related models in schools 4 to 5 days per week for 2 hours at each school. Each therapist will rotate between 10 schools up to 2 hours per day at each school. A location will be provided at each school for services.
• Provide therapy, skills building, brief counseling and crisis counseling as needed to students in schools working with school social workers, and health and wellness facilitators.
• Educate and empower families to implement effective behavior modification techniques
• Coordinate services with private organizations & schools

Job Type: -Part-Time-Full time (20 hours/week)
