In this role, you will provide direct in-home clinical treatment and therapeutic counseling as appropriate to children, adolescents, and parents/guardians. You will develop treatment plans, implement interventions, and review outcomes, while maintaining clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts to promote peer and supervisory review and feedback. You will also engage clients, supports, caregivers and other key participants in active, change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement, and link consumers to additional resources as appropriate. This is a full-time, permanent position that will be performed in-community or in-school in various locations in the Atlanta metropolitan area (Gwinett, Cherokee, Hall, Forsyth, Fulton, Cobb, Douglas, DeKalb, Rockdale, Fulton, Clayton, and Henry counties).

- Demonstrated hands-on experience performing 1:1 therapeutic sessions with clients; prior experience providing group therapy and/or full-time community or home-based mental health experience strongly preferred
- Training and experience in evidence-based treatment models
- Knowledge of assessment tools and the ability to conduct an initial assessment of a client to determine treatment plans
- Crisis intervention skills: able to recognize high-risk behaviors and recommend additional services
- Strong organization and time management skills with the capacity to manage a case load of 25-30 clients concurrently
- Willingness, ability, and determination to holistically evaluate clients’ cases and know when and how to engage other resources to help them get where they need to be
- Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills; demonstrated ability to work with diverse cultures
- Master’s in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
Nice-To-Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Certifications such as LAPC, LMSW, LPC, LCSW
- Experience with trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and behavioral health assessment (BHA)
