We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor for our Pediatric patients. You will play a crucial role in supporting our patients and families with mental health challenges by providing direct care and assistance.

This position will begin with 1 day per week, with an opportunity to provide more hours as patient volume grows. Compensation will be on a per-visit basis, from $65 - $75 based on experience.

Duties

- Assist in the implementation of individual treatment plans
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients
- Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress
- Facilitate group and family therapy sessions
- Assist with crisis intervention when necessary

- Take a holistic approach to mental health care

Experience

- Must have active LPC license

-Experience in Play Therapy required

- Experience in medical documentation and record-keeping
- Knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
- Experience in child and family counseling
- Proficiency in grief counseling, anxiety, depression, adhd
- Ability to work with individuals on the autism spectrum
- Understanding of ICD-10 coding
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology
- Experience in conducting individual and group counseling sessions
