About Us:
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Child Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing therapeutic services to children and adolescents facing emotional, behavioral, or developmental challenges. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and/or family therapy in a safe and supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide evidence-based therapeutic services to children and adolescents.
Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, schools, and other professionals.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Participate in team meetings, supervision, and professional development.
Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
Licensed or license-eligible (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LP, or equivalent) in Georgia.
Specialized training or experience in child/adolescent therapy.
Strong understanding of child development, trauma-informed care, and family systems.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with play therapy, CBT, DBT, or other evidence-based modalities.
Bilingual abilities a plus.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs).
