About
Hi! My name is Lisa and I am pleased to offer services to those who don't mind and are willing to do the work. Therapy can be beneficial and liken to a good physical work out. The more you work out-consistently, the body in turn, feels and performs better. Therapy helps to work on our mental states, that change due to our varying phases of life. Help me to help you become better and stronger.
My aim is to facilitate and be a part of what can be, at times, a grueling and painful process but worth the work. I DO NOT have any answers for you, as I believe that 'YOU' have all the answers to your own life's dilemmas. So; I help, guide and educate you along your own carved path. And together we navigate to get you to your best and healthiest answer for your life's beautiful dilemmas.
I hold a master's degree in psychology, and a NCC fully licensed professional counselor. My modality, aka, style/approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT for short. I specialize in couples therapy, depression, life coaching, bi-polar and individuals that want to be more secure in their thoughts and desire a true change in the way they approach and think about this thing we call 'life.'
My schedule is flexible, as I try to cater to those in need of untraditional hours. So, I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions as well as some weekend and evening hours upon request.
In all things I believe; "whatever you think you can or can't do-you're right." H. Ford. The only limits to life are those we impose on ourselves. Let's explore what's really holding you back!
