Adlerian Play Therapist with a focus on trauma, multicultural issues, and sexual and gender minority youth. Suicide Intervention trainer and researcher. Proud part of the Geek Therapy community. Concurrently pursuing an MA in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and a PhD in Counselor Education from Georgia State University. Recently served as a school-based clinical mental health counselor utilizing play therapy across all 11 schools, preK-12, in City Schools of Decatur. I have run groups for social skills, healthy relationships, anger management, and survivors of sexual violence. I collaborate with school counselors, administrators, school psychologists, social workers, faculty, and parents to create a treatment team, enhancing clients’ success with treatment goals. Special certifications in Geek Therapy, AutPlay Therapy, ASIST, and Psychological First Aid. I work with children, individuals, couples, and more.
