ERICK SANDSTAD is a former monk who studied in Salamanca, Spain, and Rome, Italy, at the Pontifical University Regina Apostolorum. He acquired a Bachelor's Degree and a Licentiate Degree in Philosophy. He holds a Master of Science in Psychology from Northeastern University Bouve College of Health Sciences in Boston, Massachusetts. He is an EMDR Certified Therapist, a member of the Georgia Board of Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors, a Fellow of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, and a Fellow of the International Board of Hypnotherapy (IBH). He specializes in complex trauma, dissociation, derealization, and depersonalization issues.
