We all have experiences, feelings, and behaviors we cannot always explain, control, or understand about ourselves. I view therapy as a valuable opportunity to learn about our feelings, thoughts, behaviors, experiences, and develop healthier coping skills so that we can feel better about ourselves and interact more effectively in the world around us. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Women's Studies (2002) from Agnes Scott College and completed her Master's of Science in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University (2005). I have been practicing Dialectical Behavior Therapy for nineteen years and has been intensively trained in DBT through Behavioral Tech.
