Angela Montondo is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
A U.S. Army veteran and former licensed nurse, Angela brings both professional and lived experience to her work with first responders, active duty military, military families, and trauma survivors from all walks of life. She also specializes in the treatment of bipolar disorder. For clients who wish to integrate spirituality into their healing process, she incorporates faith-based interventions as part of treatment.
Her therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), which she considers a central framework in her practice. She believes that genuine rapport between counselor and client is a vital foundation for effective therapy and collaborates closely with other healthcare providers to support holistic wellness and balance.
Angela is married to a retired U.S. Army Infantryman (now law enforcement officer), further grounding her understanding of military life and the unique needs of service members, first responders, and their families.
