CPCS Initial Certification (For Those Without a CPCS Credential) -  

The 5-Day Hybrid Training Summit is geared toward providing the education and credentialing to become a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS).

Dates:  March 10 - 13, 2025 (Mon - Thurs)  in Macon GA

             March 15, 2025 (Sat) via Webinar

Prerequisites for the CPCS: If you used your Masters degree to get your LPC , the Licensing Rule requires a person be an LPC for THREE (3) years before they may supervise. CPCS 5-Day Training Summit Schedule will cover: Foundations of Supervision Documentation/Methods of Supervision Legal and Ethical Issues in Supervision Tele-Supervision Applied Supervision

CE 12 Hours:  6 Core and 6 Ethics

In an era where remote communication is increasingly prevalent, counseling professionals must adapt their supervisory practices to meet the demands of tele-supervision. This workshop offers a comprehensive exploration of the nuances, challenges, and other complex issues surrounding supervision in the digital age. Ethics on laws, rules, and policies. How to's, such as challenges to the maintenance of clinical best practices in supervision when conducting supervision via distance communication formats. Resolve challenges to securing supervisee compliance with ethical practice guidelines based upon gaps in knowledge and skills, resource insufficiencies, motivational challenges and inadequacies in terms of systems and structures for managing ethical dilemmas and the ethical decision making process.
