It provides a smooth transition of client care in unforeseen circumstances, upholding ethical responsibilities, and safeguards clients' well-being. The workshop is designed to provide mental health professionals with understanding and tools needed to develop a professional will. Its primary objective is to support clinicians in ensuring continuity of client care, upholding ethical responsibilities, and protecting sensitive information in unexpected circumstances. Participants will explore relevant codes of ethics and ethical standards, understand the practical and legal implications of having or not having a professional will, and engage in interactive exercises to support personalizing their professional wills.
