Description
This in-person program, will help you become a better clinician by teaching you a model by which to conceptualize your own behavior and the motivation that is creating that behavior. It will also help you conceptualize your patients in order to better understand what is at the core of their distress. In this program, you will learn a tool for understanding your motivations during the counseling session and in the therapeutic relationship. This will address Sections A.4.a., A.4.b., and C.2.g. of the ACA Code of Ethics. This will constitute 3 Ethics hours.

| Skye McIntyre is the founder and leader of SkyeHelps Counseling & Wellness in Dahlonega, Georgia. Skye is a LPC and CPCS, clinical supervisor, with a focus on trauma treatment for adults and communication counseling for couples. Through her own journey and walking with others through theirs, Skye has developed The Tree Model as a way to help conceptualize herself and her patients in order to promote a more ethical practice. She currently serves at the LPCA Board of Directors Northern District Chair. Skye hosts regular events, networking, and pot-luck events for those in North Georgia. |
