Gbubemi Uwaifo is a wife and mother of three children: a son aged 10 and twin daughters aged 8. She has been in the counseling profession for over 15 years. She has a BA in Psychology and an MA in Professional Counseling. Her empathetic and supportive approach to counseling helps her empower others to live their healthiest life. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia, a Nationally Certified Counselor, a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor, a Masters Addiction Counselor, a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, and an Employee Assistant Specialist-Clinical. She is the founder, part owner, and services provider at Affirm Wellness. Affirm Wellness is a counseling and consulting company established in August 2016. Gbubemi has also been working with the Veterans Administration since March 2023. Her goal in counseling clients is to help them explore ways to figure out their own best answers or solutions and to promote autonomy.
