Olga Maxwell is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally-Certified Counselor as well as Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor. She holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Troy University as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. She is currently employed at AmericanWork DBA Clarvida as the Area Director for Columbus, where she oversees operations of the Outpatient, Residential Peer, Supported Employment and the ACT Program. Olga is a practicing clinician, mentor and a clinical supervisor. She specializes in treating clients with severe mental illness, individuals with trauma, abuse, suicidality. She is certified in CTR, Beck's Cognitive Treatment for Schizophrenia. Olga serves on the Clinical Mental Health Advisory Board of Troy University, Phenix City campus. She also serves on the LPCAGA Board of Directors as a representative for the Western Region, covering Columbus, GA and neighboring counties. Olga previously presented on mental health and wellness-related topics at the International ACT Conference, Troy University Suicide Prevention Conference, PATH Conference, CIT, NAMI and other events. In her spare time she enjoys all things nature, growing her rare plant collection and practicing yoga; she also loves to travel.
