About
Marc Prevette, MS, LPC, NCC, CST-S, CPCS, is the owner of Brighthope Counseling LLC and a Licensed Professional Counselor with advanced training in sex therapy, trauma-informed care, and clinical supervision. He holds a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Fort Valley State University. He is a National Certified Counselor, an AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist and Supervisor, and a Certified Professional Counseling Supervisor. Marc serves as an adjunct instructor in a sex therapy training program housed within an accredited university and is actively involved in professional organizations, including the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia and the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists. He also remains engaged in supervision and ethics committees, contributing to ongoing dialogue around ethical practice and professional growth.
Marc brings both professional expertise and lived experience to his work as a disabled U.S. Air Force veteran. His clinical focus includes men’s mental health, veteran-related concerns, sexuality and sexual health, identity exploration, and trauma recovery. In addition to providing therapy for adults, Marc offers consultation and supervision for counselors seeking supportive, reflective, and developmentally focused guidance. His approach emphasizes acceptance, collaboration, and practical growth, creating a professional yet approachable space for both clients and clinicians.
