About
Bo is married 43 years to Ramona Robinson with two children, four grandboys, one grandchild on the way, and one great granddaughter. He is an LPC and have six years of experience in therapeutic counseling with Northeast Georgia Medical Center/ Laurelwood Behavioral Health in Gainesville, Georgia, one year internship and five years as a fulltime employee. As Therapist-Behavioral II, his responsibilities included interventions with adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients with all levels of mental illness in crisis. These interventions have been one-on-one individual and group therapies, including communicating with and educating patients’ families/significant others. He has been a team member with psychiatrists, nurses, and supervisors in the development of diagnosis, treatment, placements, and follow-up treatment with aftercare providers. He is certified by Beck Institute Cognitive Behavior Therapy for successful demonstration of competency in Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy.
The years serving our communities throughout the state of Georgia with Northeast Georgia Medical Center, He has established relations with agencies and providers in the health field including Georgia state community service boards with mental health, Insurance companies, psychiatric care, psychological diagnostics, Georgia Adult Protective Services, Georgia Department of Family and Children Services, law enforcement, substance abuse recovery centers, PCH's, NGHS financial navigators, convalescent homes, and IOP/PHP with both short term and long term care.
In addition, He has served as a pastor over forty years. He is presently the longest standing pastor of twenty years with The Fountain Church of God of Prophecy established 1910 in Dahlonega, Georgia. He is also a disabled war veteran with the 82nd Airborne Division US Army.
