Human services experience in inpatient, outpatient, community, residential and telehealth counseling services. Currently work in outpatient clinic for Spmi and SA for adults 6 years. Previously worked in community counseling agency services for adolescence and child counseling. Provided inpatient counseling services as prn 1yr. Completed 81/2 years experience in assisted living services for 55-105yrs old. Serving group counseling services in SA and Grief Counseling 6 years and music therapy groups for 2 years. Completed 3 years on online telehealth platform. And provide telehealth services from outpatient clinic. Specialty in pastoral thanatology, grief counseling, trauma, anger management and substance abuse. Registered Play therapist for 6 years.Recently completed specialist training for nicotine and tobacco treatments. Became a LAPC in 2017. Transitioned to LPC in 2018.
Life experience as widow after 42+ years marriage, mother of 3 adult daughters, a grandmother and pets:miniature schnauzer and 2cats.
Enjoyed traveling many countries and across the United States. Grew up in Hapeville, St. John the Evangelist Elementary School, Georgia went to M.D.Collins high school in College Park and currently reside in Fayetteville. Lived in Istanbul Turkey 6 months, 3 months and 2 months in 1985-1992.
Graduate of Clayton State University, Capella University, and Argosy University.
