Dr. Avery Rosser, an accomplished mental health care executive and Founder of We Climb Counseling

and Consulting LLC, brings a unique combination of academic excellence, diverse counseling training,

and passionate research to his role. Dr. Rosser’s commitment to professional growth and excellence is

further demonstrated by his advanced training in areas such as EMDR, suicide prevention, Motivational

Interviewing and post-traumatic stress disorder/moral injury, among others. Dr. Rosser is deeply

invested in research, with a specific focus on qualitative research and moral injury among Black police

officers and veterans and mental health among Black men. Recognized as one of Atlanta’s 40 under 40

and selected as a 2022 NBCC Minority Fellowship Program Fellow, Dr. Rosser’s dedication to diversity

and inclusivity is paramount in his research endeavors.
