About

 I have a B.A. from Michigan State University and an M.Ed. from Georgia State University. I have thirty-six years of experience as a school-based counselor working with elementary, middle, and high school students. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Registered Play Therapist (RPT), and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I update my credentials and stay abreast of current research and counseling techniques through professional associations. I am also a registered Yoga Teacher 200. I am currently working on my EMDR certification. I use a combination of modalities depending on the needs of the client from Play Therapy, Sandplay Therapy, Expressive Arts, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and EMDR.  I see clients from 3 years old through adulthood.
