This 3-hour workshop prepares counselors with the knowledge and skills to conduct trauma-informed assessments that are both clinically effective and culturally responsive. Participants will explore strategies to recognize complex and racial trauma, avoid retraumatization, and reduce bias in the assessment process. Through case examples and applied practice, attendees will learn to integrate ethical decision-making and cultural humility into trauma assessment.
