Prerequisites for the CPCS: If you used your Masters degree to get your LPC you must wait THREE (3) years to supervise.

Certification Requirements: To earn the telesupervision certification and renew their current CPCS certification, participants must complete a telesupervision exam and submit an application for certification. The training covers the cost of the application and exam.

Day 1 (7 hours):
Introduction to Telesupervision: Participants will be introduced to the foundational concepts of telesupervision, including its benefits and potential challenges.
This training will provide practical guidance on maintaining clinical best practices while conducting supervision via distance communication formats. Participants will learn strategies to effectively manage the supervision process, ensuring that clinical standards are upheld.
GA Ethics and Rules Training (1 hour): This session will cover Georgia-specific ethics and rules relevant to telesupervision. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of state laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines to ensure compliance and best practices in their supervisory roles.
Day 2 (6 hours):
Advanced Topics in Telesupervision: Participants will delve into more advanced topics in telesupervision, such as securing supervisee compliance with ethical practice guidelines. The workshop will address gaps in knowledge and skills, resource insufficiencies, motivational challenges, and structural inadequacies in managing ethical dilemmas and the ethical decision-making process.
