Diving Deeper into the Sand: Intermediate Sandtray Therapy for Children and Adults (6 CORE Hours)

Description

This training is for participants who want to go deeper in their understanding and use of this modality with clients. Participants will leave understanding how sandtray therapy affects the brain, and with additional techniques for this modality. Participants will also be better equipped in assessing and processing clients builds through recognizing themes. Participants will also learn how to apply sandtray therapy theoretically, including with the following models: Adlerian, CBT, Narrative, Person-Centered, and Solution Focused. Participants will then get a better understanding of how to document sandtray therapy sessions and will feel more confident about their documentation of this modality. Finally, participants will get an introduction to virtual sandtray therapy, and will get a chance to practice using this modality during the training. Participants will build their own sandtrays during the training and practice the information and techniques covered with each other.
